Harper and John leave behind the witches of Steepwick for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Scotland. While John dreams of touring the beautiful Highlands and famous whiskey distilleries, Harper’s just excited to visit her old friend, Galen, a writer and powerful witch who needs Harper’s help with a local mystery.
Galen suspects that a lovelorn ghost is haunting the famous sixteenth-century Aberdon Tower. Plenty of myths surround the woman’s demise, and Galen hopes to uncover the real story for her next book. But with the growing anti-witch sentiment in the nearby village, Galen and Harper need to stay alert to stay out of harm’s way.
As Galen’s motives become less clear, Harper is sure of one thing: there’s more to this ghost than meets the eye.
