I’m so excited to be here today with you to celebrate the release of A Georgia Christmas!
It’s the story of Merilee Bell and Randy Slade set in fictional Moonshine, Georgia and the second release in my Moonshine, Georgia series. First, let’s talk about this gorgeous cover! Lee Hyat really knocked it out of the park with this one, didn’t she? Blue is my favorite color, and that makes me love it even more!
In this winter-set novella, salon owner, Merilee, meets Randy when he parks his big ol’ pickup truck in her salon’s dedicated client parking space. Parking is at a premium in Moonshine, especially during the holidays, and taking a spot that is CLEARLY marked reserved doesn’t fly with feisty Merilee. She insists that if he’s going to park there, he should get a haircut or park elsewhere.
Randy agrees he’s overdue for a trim, and let’s Merilee have her way with—his hair. He tells her he’s in town for a job interview as the town’s newest deputy at the sheriff’s department across the street. Really, he’s an undercover Georgia Bureau of Investigations special agent who’s setting up a sting operation to catch a ring of property scammers. Since he’s undercover, he can’t tell her the truth.
Merilee just happens to have a garage apartment perfect for his undercover operation and rents it from Merilee, telling her a half-truth so he can move in and set things up. As Merilee and the town of Ministry charm him through the holiday season, he begins to imagine a life here. Can he do his job and still celebrate a small town southern Christmas, and maybe more with his dream girl?
This story is part suspense, part romance, and all Southern holiday charm. I hope you’ll give it a try.
Here are a couple of reviews for A Georgia Christmas so far:
“If you enjoy small-town contemporary romance with a strong sense of community, well-developed characters, a bit of suspense, complicated family dynamics, a realistic redemption arc and a happily ever after, I recommend A GEORGIA CHRISTMAS by Susan Sands. It’s a quick read with characters who were easy to root for and a charming town I’m eager to revisit.”—PJ Ausdenmore, The Romance Dish
“I absolutely loved A Georgia Christmas by Susan Sands! Her books never fail to hit that perfect mix of heartwarming, funny, and romantic. Merilee is such a relatable and lovable character. She’s strong, independent, and so proud of how far she’s come. The small town vibes in Moonshine, Georgia, are so cozy and magical, especially during Christmas. The festive setting made everything feel extra special.”—Goodreads reviewer
