The book is set in London and the hero is Mason Hunter, a bad boy rebel with muscles to die for and a brooding darkness that’s been eating him up for the last five years. He also has some breathtaking tattoos that his heroine Piper finds irresistible :)

I’m a little obsessed with tats at the moment, and so of course Mason had to be inked. His magnificent dragon covers his back and the claws scrape his pecs, and girls just love it. Not that he cares what they think. There’s only ever been one girl for him, and he knows she’s out of his league. It’s not stopped him thinking about her though, and when they meet again there’s no way he’s going to walk away when she offers him one steamy night, no strings attached.

Despite my fascination with tattoos I don’t have any (because hello unnecessary pain!) but I sometimes fantasize about what I’d have done if I had the nerve. I’ve given a couple of my heroines tats – a delicate iris on the inside of the wrist and a tiny unicorn on the hip.

I’ve been on a bit of a bad boy kick lately, and Every Breath You Take is no exception. Mason Hunter is the rebel biker good girl Piper secretly fell for five years ago, and when they meet again the sizzling attraction between them is as hot as ever. But after setting several books in the US, this time I went back to my roots and set the book in London.

It’s funny, I haven’t been back to England in about twelve years but I only have to close my eyes and it’s like I’ve never left. I had great fun coming up with a name for the seventeenth century pub Mason and Piper visit – The Slug and Lettuce. Now, while this is a perfectly gorgeous eccentric name for a British pub, as with many things in England it’s not quite as it seems.

It actually has nothing to do with a slimy bug munching on your salad. Slug is an old word for strong drink and lettuce is derived from the word lattice, and in the 16th and 17th centuries red lattice on a sign indicated an alehouse.

Not that either Mason or Piper were the least bit interested in that delicious piece of history, since they were both battling with guilt from the past and trying not to fall in love in the present :)

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to talk about love and romance. Of course, as a romance author I think about this every day (and as my books tend to be on the steamy side, I also seem to think about sex quite a lot. It’s a hard job but someone has to do it!)

In my latest release, Every Breath You Take, which is part of the Seduced boxed set, my first idea was to have almost the entire story set around Valentine’s Day, but as soon as Mason and Piper appeared in my mind I knew that wasn’t going to work.

These two have history, and when they meet again after five years neither think there can be anything serious between them. Not only did Piper used to date Mason’s older brother Colton, but they’re both eaten up with guilt over Colton’s death all those years ago.

Piper is sure if she can only let go of the teenage crush she had on the bad boy rebel Mason, she’ll be able to move on with her life. A one-night stand seems like the perfect answer.

As for Mason, he fell hard for Piper five years ago but is convinced she could never forgive him for what happened to his brother. If a hot one-night stand is all she’s willing to offer him, then he’ll take it with both hands.
