PillowXTalkWrite hot? Show us what you got!

Hit us with your best sultry stories, exotic romances, and tempting heroes.

We are looking for new stories to help us launch our new erotic romance line, Eros. Eros is Tule’s latest imprint that will hold only the hottest stories for your ereader. If you love to read or write your romance with an extra level of heat, you’ve found the right place. We can’t wait to launch the imprint with its first stories in early 2016.

We are choosing FIVE authors to help us launch our new erotic romance line. We will choose one author from each of the four word count based categories, and then one overall winner! All five winners will be offered a standard Tule new author contract.

To Submit:

Please email your submission to submissions@thetulegroup.com, and in the subject line please write “PILLOW TALK: Your title”

Please submit the FULL manuscript of your story.

Please submit a synopsis of your book that summarizes the story, including the ending, that is no more than two pages long.

By submitting to Tule Publishing, you agree to the terms and conditions included in the contest rules.

What are you looking for?

  • Talented writers, fantastic plots, and a story that we cannot put down! The story must fall under the erotica or erotic romance category, and all subgenres are enjoyed and accepted.

Can I enter more than one story?

  • Yes, but please submit them separately.

Can I submit a series?

  • If you have an idea for a series, let us know, but please submit just your first story.

What is the desired word length?

  • We have four different categories:
    • Short: 15K to 25K words
    • Novella: 25K to 40K words
    • Short Novel: 40K to 60K words
    • Long Novel: 60K to 100K words
    • Please indicate which category your story falls under in your query.

Do I have to be a published author?

  • You do not! We are looking for great authors with intriguing voices, and maybe you haven’t had the chance to share your story. But we are here to listen!

Do I need an agent?

  • We accept both agented and non-agented submissions. If you do have an agent you do not have to submit through them, but we can definitely work with them if you are a winner!

When is deadline?

  • The deadline to submit is January 4th, 2016.

When will I know if I am a winner?

  • We will announce the winners on February 1st, 2016.

If I am a winner when will my story be published?

  • We will have your story out in 2016, preferably sooner rather than later!

  1. Hi,

I’m very interested in submitting for this contest and have a question. In what format would you like manuscripts submitted? I can’t imagine copy/pasting 100K words into my email, however if this is your preference I shall do so. Please advise.

    Thank you.

  2. Are you accepting any other genres of books? I have more than one that I’d like to have published but don’t know how to go about doing that.
