Homemade Granola Recipe from Tule’s Office Assistant, Nicole!

Through the holiday season, we will be featuring family recipes from members of the Tule office!

Today’s featured recipe is Homemade Granola from Tule’s Office Assistant, Nicole!


This is my favorite homemade granola for yogurt and parfaits!  – Nicole

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of old fashion oats.
  • 1/4 cup of honey (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup of dried cranberries (or other dried berries)

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  2. Mix old fashion oats and honey until thoroughly covered.
  3. Spread evenly on a parchment paper or silicone mat and bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Place mat/paper on a cooling rack and wait until cooled. The mixture will harden and become crunch when cold.
  5. Combine with nuts, chocolate chips, or dried berries. Eat as is or mix in with yogurt!
