Elementary school teacher Francie Tate moved back to Marietta to be close to her ailing father. She plans to settle in and fix up her little bungalow before the school year starts, but definitely needs help with the neglected yard. She’s shocked when the landscaper she hired turns out to be a class mate. Tanner used to be shy in school, but he isn’t the same kid anymore–he’s tall, sexy, and has the most striking brown eyes she’s ever seen. When Francie learns of Tanner’s need for child care, she impulsively offers to watch his half-sister for the summer in return for some landscaping and renovations around the house.

It seems like a win-win, but Francie didn’t bargain on falling in love.

  1. I am sooo looking forward to runaway Princess Bride by Lenore Worth. I must admit I only got the first one because it was free through BookBub but now I’m hooked!

  2. Oh wow. This is a little hard. I see a couple of books I’m interested in.

  3. This is a fantastic list of new releases for August! It was hard to choose just one, but I’d like to read “The Cowboy Meets His Match” the most.

  4. Wow what a line up. What to choose they all sound really good. I guess if I have to pick I would pick “Nobody Said It’d Be Easy” Thank you for the chance.

  5. The Cowboy Meets His Match by Sarah Mayberry is my first choice. All the books look good. I dated a guy who did barrel racing and we watched polo at the Chagrin Polo Fields. On one occasion, a polo pony and his rider had made a goal and turned around to go the other way, but the horse died. That ended the game because it’s hard to play around a beautiful animal who is laying on field. Everybody was sad and pretty much packed up and left. Polo is a rich man’s sport since you need a string of ponies to stay in the game and have fresh legs.

  6. The book I am looking forward to reading is Runaway Princess Bride by Lenora Worth (Southern Born)The Castles of Dallas, Book 3.

  7. Tanner’s Promise sounds interesting with the added element of a guardianship. Plus I would like the opportunity to read a new-to-me author, Kaylie Newell.
